Outboard engine manufacturers have embraced state of the art technology to make ever more efficient engines. Computerised management systems realise fuel efficient and dependable outboards. Protection systems save engine from damage by limiting RPM while ensuring continuing operation to get you to safety. Marine Motors trained staff have the latest Diagnostic tools to quickly interrogate and repair your engine.

Our diagnostic equipment is world standard technology, used Globally and can comunicate with your engine, monitoring statistics like RPM, engine temperature, fuel consumption. We can see if your engine is under strain or if suited to your boat.


Dyno Testing

The Dynomometer, often refered to as "dyno" is a test performed on an engine to measure its power output. The dyno is connected to the drive shaft (i.e. the propeller end) and gives a hydraulic pressure reading which we convert to Horse Power output. This allows us to test, tune and check engine condition without expensive sea trials.
